On March 8th in 2018, by the invitation of professor Shen Heyong, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences（FHSS） invited professor Paul Kugler for academic communication. This activity was held by the College of Humanities Applied Psychology Course at City University.

Paul Kugler is the Honorary Secretary General of International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP), professor of State University of New York. Once he was the president of American Jungian Psychoanalytic Society. He is proficient in Jungian psychoanalysis and Freudian psychoanalysis and has published several books which gain great influence in psychology academic area.

In this activity professor Paul Kugler offered supervision to the postgraduate students and PHD students major in Applied Psychology. He shared his own comprehension of “individuation”. He said that therapists shall pay attention to the inner child of clients, help them to find out their own value. The supervision was inspired deep thoughts.
