From 1999 to 2007, he studied for a Ph.D. in Basic Psychology at the School of Education of Nanjing Normal University. He received his Ph.D. under the professor Yang Xinhui, and then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in History of Chinese Philosophy at School of Philosophy of Wuhan University.
