Betty Jackson is an internationally renowned sandplay therapist and one of the main directors of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (ISST). She began her professional training in sandplay therapy with Dora Kalff (the founder of sandplay therapy) in 1975, and became the senior supervisor of American sandplay therapists in 1991.Betty Jackson is also a social worker in Pennsylvania, a licensed graduate social worker in Maryland and a certified sandplay therapist, and she has more than 35 years working experience in schools, mental health agencies and private institutions. Betty Jackson often attended international conferences as reporter and has written many books and articles on psychoanalysis and sandplay therapy. Currently, she serves on the board of directors of the international community's sandplay therapy and is responsible for coordinating the sandplay training for the central-atlantic region. Ms. Jackson provided counseling and support services to upper bay region as a child and family therapist, and maintained in private practice at Christina's in Pennsylvania.
