Dr. Murray Stein specializes in spiritual and psychotherapy, Jung's psychoanalytic approach and individualization. Born in Canada in 1943, Stein graduated from the English Department of Yale University with a Master of Theology from Yale University School of Theology and a Ph.D. in Religion and Psychology from the University of Chicago. He then completed the training of Jung analysts at Jung Institute in Switzerland. From 1976 to 2003, Dr. Stein was a training analyst at the Jung Institute in Chicago. From 1980 to 1985, he was also a director and principal of the Jung Institute in Chicago.In 1989, he joined the Administrative Committee of the the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) and served as honorary secretary. From 2001 to 2004, he became the chairman of the the International Association for Analytical Psychology. Currently he lives in Switzerland and is responsible for the Swiss Institute of Analytical Psychology.  Dr. Stan's work is quite rich, and his bookJung's Map of the soulhas always been one of the important introductory books for Jungian psychology in the Chinese world.
